Michael Kemp is a 23-year-old photographer who has been capturing the world through his lens for the past 7 years. Born and raised in the North Bay Area, Michael has a deep connection to the landscapes and outdoor spaces of Northern California. Growing up, he spent much of his time exploring the rugged beauty of the Sonoma Coast and now he captures it through his photography.
Mike is a published photographer with a background in landscape, portrait, and product photography. His photographs have been used in marketing campaigns with well-known brands such as Lowepro Bags. Michael specializes in landscape photography and has a passion for capturing the beauty of the natural world.
In early 2020, Michael began an internship working under award-winning photographer and director Rachid Dahnoun. What was supposed to be a 6-month internship has now turned into over three years of adventures as he continues to learn from and work alongside one of the industry's best. Through this amazing opportunity, he has had the opportunity to travel to new places and hone his skills as a photographer, making memories and capturing moments that will last a lifetime.
Despite his busy schedule as a student at UC Berkeley, Michael never loses his adventurous spirit and his love for the outdoors. Whether hiking to a remote location in search of the perfect shot or exploring new territories for inspiration, he is always on the move, constantly seeking new opportunities to capture the world the way he sees it.
